Karolinska institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, hosts one of the most important eye hospitals in Europe. I was invited by Dr. Alberto Domínguez Vicent to present our group’s research at their departmental seminar, entitled “Looking beyond what’s visible: How eye tomography hides clues about structure and disease and how we can learn to read them.”.
I also had the opportunity to meet his research colleague, Dr. Abinaya Priya Venkataraman, and her former mentor, Prof. Dr. R. R. Sudhir, Deputy Director of Cornea Services at Sankara Nethralaya in India. Together we exchanged research ideas and explored potential collaborations.
And of course, I also found time to enjoy some sightseeing in beautiful Stockholm (thank you, Anbinaya, for the guided tour!)
