Researchers and collaborators from VISIONSAFE participated in Optica Biophotonics Congress 2026, a conference organized by OPTICA and held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States.
The congress brought together researchers working in biomedical optics, optical imaging, microscopy, and photonics applied to healthcare.

During the meeting, we also had the opportunity to meet Maria Miazdzyk, one of our closest international collaborators.
It was also our first time in southern Florida. The conference venue was located just in front of the ocean, so between sessions and scientific discussions we had the chance to walk along the beach, enjoy the warm (and humid!) weather, and experience a very different atmosphere from our usual day-to-day work in Zaragoza.
