Thanks to an Erasmus+ scholarship, I had the chance to visit Prof. González Meijome and his research group, the CEORlab, at the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal).
During the few days we spent together, I run a Data Science for Eye Research course. The course consisted of the following modules:
Module 1. Statistics
Module 2. Modelling and software development
Module 3. Image Processing
Module 4. Machine Learning
The lectures took place at the Escola de Ciências, Gualtar Campus, and were organized by the Department of Physics-Optometry. An online connection was also provided for international participants, including master’s students, PhD students, and faculty members from different fields of knowledge.
