Experience

I graduated in Physics in 2011 and completed a Master’s degree in Physics and Physical Technologies in 2012, both at the University of Zaragoza, in my hometown. However, it wasn’t until 2014 that my career in eye research truly began. Since then, these are the places I have lived and the positions I have held:

  • Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw, Poland), 2014–2017
PhD student under a Marie Curie fellowship, supervised by Prof. D. Robert Iskander.
  • The University of Manchester (Manchester, United Kingdom), 2016
Visiting researcher at the Optometry Clinic, working with Prof. Hema Radhakrishnan as part of my PhD training.
  • Antwerp University Hospital (Antwerp, Belgium), 2017–2018
Postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Jos J. Rozema.
  • Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw, Poland), 2018–2020
Postdoctoral researcher in the research group led by Prof. Maciej Wojtkowski.
  • University of Zaragoza (Zaragoza, Spain), 2020–2024
