Maria Miażdżyk visited us for the second time this year, this time on a very special occasion: just one day after successfully defending her PhD thesis, “Estimation of corneal light scattering parameters which are independent of external factors and anterior eye geometry.” [you can download it here]
Her PhD was supervised by Prof. D. Robert Iskander from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland) and Prof. Alejandra Consejo from the University of Zaragoza (VISIONSAFE’s PI). As the defence was held online, we were all able to follow it and celebrate this important milestone with her.
It was nice to meet again on such a special occasion. We also took advantage of her visit to move forward with several of our ongoing joint research projects.
Congratulations, Dr Miażdżyk!
