Dr. Izabela Garaszczuk was awarded one of the competitive grants offered by the University of Zaragoza to host outstanding international researchers. Iza is an optometrist and Assistant Professor at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw, Poland), where she specializes in tear-film physiology and dry eye disease. For the past three months, she has been working with us as an invited expert, contributing her knowledge, enthusiasm, and clinical insight to our projects.
Beyond the scientific work, Iza quickly became part of our daily routine in the lab. She even ran the Race for Science with the VISIONSAFE team.
