On June 25th, the Aragon Institute of Engineering Research (I3A) held its annual conference, with the Young Researchers’ Conference reaching its 14th edition. This event offers a platform for PhD students and early-career researchers to present their ongoing work and connect with colleagues across research divisions.
PhD students from our group were selected to give oral presentations, sharing our latest research in two different areas:
- In the Information and Communication Technologies Division, we presented: Transfer Learning-Based Keratoconus Detection from Scheimpflug Images by Juan Casado-Moreno, Belen Masia, and Alejandra Consejo
- In the Biomedical Engineering Division, we presented: Iris Color Matters in Ocular Health Assessment by Ana R. Arizcuren and Alejandra Consejo
Participating in this event was an excellent opportunity to disseminate our research, receive constructive feedback, and engage with fellow researchers from various fields. We are grateful to the I3A for supporting young scientists and fostering a collaborative research environment.
